Wolfsburg linked with move for confidence-sapped Javier Hernandez

Wolfsburg are being linked with a move for confidence-sapped Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez next season. The Bundesliga club are sounding out a move for the Mexican to make him an integral part of their attack, according to German newspaper Bild. Hernandez is unhappy on the bench at Madrid and is set to leave Manchester United in the summer with his first-team chances also limited with the Premier League giants. Chicharito vented his frustration at not getting many minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu to Fox Sports after scoring the winner for his country in a friendly against Ecuador. "My situation is frustrating," he said. "I co-operate, I help and give my 100 per cent in training but in the games the opportunities are slim. I'm in a team but left out of what is important, which are the games. At times my confidence is rock bottom although I try for it to be sky high, thanks to the people that are always there with me and support me." Hernandez has been largely warming the bench in the Spanish capital and his frustration came to a head while on international duty over the last week. Madrid had the option to make his move a permanent one at the end of the campaign but a lack of action points towards a return to Manchester for the Mexican come the end of the campaign.
