Marca - Done deal between De Gea and Madrid

Real Madrid are edging closer to signing Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, according to Marca. The Spain international has already agreed a deal with Madrid, according to the biggest selling Spanish sports newspaper today, and Los Blancos now just need to thrash out a deal with United to secure his services. "Done deal" said the front page of Marca today. "Madrid have reached an agreement with De Gea and now need to reach one with United". The report went on to comment that the goalkeeper will sign a five-year deal with Madrid. It comes just a day after United boss Louis van Gaal admitted the United scouts were looking for a replacement for De Gea. "When we have a very good scouting commission, then we shall already know who shall be the next goalkeeper," Van Gaal said. "We also have a list of goalkeepers who can replace him because we have to be organised always. Not only for that position but for every position." United have already signed Victor Valdes as back-up for De Gea, while the report in Marca says Madrid will let one of Iker Casillas or Keylor Navas leave in light of the Spaniard's arrival.
