Season at a premature end for Madrid pair

Dani Carvajal and Karim Benzema look to have played their final match of the season for Real Madrid. Both players suffered minor injuries in the weekend win at Espanyol and both are set to miss Madrid's final Liga match of the season at home against Getafe on Saturday night. Benzema limped off just after the hour mark, being replaced by Javier Hernandez, and was seen putting ice on his leg on the bench, while Carvajal was hauled off for Nacho later in the 4-1 win. Both 'Chicharito' and Nacho are set to be handed starting roles at the Bernabeu on Saturday owing ti a growing injury list for coach Carlo Ancelotti. Alvaro Arbeloa, Luka Modric, Sami Khedira and Sergio Ramos are also out the final match of the campaign.
