PSG going in for Ronaldo

L’Equipe has reported that PSG is forming a “secret plan” to finally bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Paris. Already aware of PSG’s intentions, Real Madrid has decided to drop any interest in Marco Verratti.

According to the supposed plan PSG is willing to wait one more year before making a multimillion dollar offer to temp Cristiano away from the Bernabeu. In a year’s time Cristiano will be 31 and possibly on the decline as an athlete and the hope is that both the player and the club will be more receptive to an offer.

PSG is looking to replace Ibrahimovic as the club’s star and leader as the Swedish international ends his contract next year. With the departure of Ibrahimovic it would lighten the financial load in Paris and the club would no longer be blocked by FIFA’s financial fair play ruling.

I was always interested In seeing Real play when I would come here to Spain to visit my family but football (soccer) was not yet my passion, being half-American and living in the states. Years later, after moving to Europe, I watched Florentino build the 'galacticos' squad and I was hooked. It was then when I first wanted to build a Real Madrid Website but it took a 0-5 thrashing at the hands of Barcelona to make me serious about the project years later - and here it is!
