Las Portadas Deportivas - 17/10/18

The return of Isco dominates the sports pages in the Spanish, or at least Madrid, sports press as Real Madrid look towards a return to LaLiga action following the break for international matches. The Spain midfielder has been sidelined as he recovers from an appendicitis surgery and madridistas are desperate for the midfield maestro to return and help boost Los Blancos' poor recent form. It's been no coincidence that Madrid's form has dipped in the absence of the former Malaga man but Isco has been back on the training pitch at Valdebebas this week and could feature in Saturday's home clash with Levante. However, Diario AS says the focus is more on Isco being fit and available for the crunch El Clásico clash with Barcelona the following week and boss Julen Lopetegui will not risk one of his key men in what is seen as a more comfortable, if crucial, home clash against the side from Valencia. Elsewhere, in Barcelona El Mundo Deportivo leads with the news that Barcelona could look to bring back Neymar from Paris St-Germain. The Catalan club need a boost following a similarly poor start to their LaLiga campaign. The news will be especially interesting to madridistas given the Brazilian star was linked with a big-money move to the Santiago Bernabéu last summer, a move which never materialised. The focus from Florentino Pérez and company may now be on Belgium star Eden Hazard, leaving Barça a seemingly clear move for their former star - if they can afford him.
