Chicharito who was a revelation last season has attracted a lot of interest from the very best clubs in Europe, it is believed that Chicharito is a wanted man at Real Madrid but his chances of arriving at the club are slim. The player put pen to paper on a new five-year deal at United.
He used to pocket 25,000 pounds earlier but his wages have been increased to 75,000 pounds a week, his performance last season was extraordinary. His off the ball movement is exemplary and his finishing is even better.
The player was bought from Chivas for just six million pounds just 18 months ago and it is now believed that Real Madrid are ready to offer the player much more than 75,000 pounds a week, they are also ready to pay Manchester United five times the amount he was bought for.
Mourinho is expected to make his move for the player when the transfer window opens in January but Manchester United may not be prepared to sell the player in January although they have ready made replacements in Welbeck, Berbatov and Macheda.
The two clubs share a healthy relationship, the transfer of Ronaldo from Manchester United to Real Madrid proves the same.
The Little Pea netted 20 times last season and also shared a great partnership with Wayne Rooney, his arrival at the Bernabeu will bolster the attacking options available at the club.
"We have renegotiated Javier's contract and he is now committed for five years with Manchester United.
"The initial contract was good for Manchester and for Javier because it enabled them both to see if they could fit together and if he could achieve what was expected of him.
"Both sides have met their expectations and United were happy to reward Javier after his very good performances last season.
"I will not talk about numbers, but it is a five-year contract. It is a fixed salary with incentives based on the team's success in each of the different tournaments.
"Javier was not badly paid with his initial contract, but it was his first contract and, with respect, not comparable with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Nani.
But today, I can say that the contract has just been signed and everyone is satisfied," revealed the agent of the player.
Weren't we going to buy Neymar already? So Neymar & Chicharito, then? Well, I guess we could use a few more strikers on the team actually, so why not?!
Ok, I love Madrid- they're my La Liga team- but NO to taking Chi Chi from my beloved Man Utd! Lol. In fairness, he's shown exceptional promise with his debut season so I expect there will always be eyes monitoring his situation. A contract isn't a ball and chain- just an expense to satisfy in order to get the player.
I think we have too many great players already sitting the bench as it is... No need to add more.
Haha Gilly! I think it's the first time you comment, isn't it? So welcome and feel free to keep commenting! Do we know you on Twitter maybe? Regarding Chicharito, what about we give you Neymar in exchange?! ;-) (I'm just being silly!)
