» Real Madrid vs. Racing Santander preview

Real Madrid will lock horns with Racing in a home game, Real Madrid have a lead of 10 points over Barcelona and it is great opportunity to extend the lead to 13 points.

Sami Khedira and Di Maria have recovered from their injuries and look set to start tonight's game, Esteban Granero and Gonzalo Higuain are expected to be benched for this one.

Marcelo is also expected to start the game, the Brazilian has been successful in shrugging off a knock and will be preferred over Fabio Coentrao. Fabio Coentrao started the game against Levante and put in a decent performance, Real Madrid won that game 4-2.

Lass Diarra did not train on Thursday, however, the player is fit to start the game tonight but may not get an opportunity tonight. He could be introduced in the second-half depending on how things pan out.

Hamit Altintop is set to miss this game, he has a calf problem.

Racing have quite a few injury problems, Manuel Colsa will miss this game, the player did his ankle and looks set to miss this game. Edu Bedia is expected to replace Manuel Colsa.

Jairo Samperio is also expected to miss the game, Lautaro Acosta should start instead of Samperio.

Racing currently occupy the 18th position in the league which also means that they are in the danger zone. They have managed just 23 points from 22 games. It should not be a tough one for the home side.
