Nuri Sahin is fit and ready to feature for Real Madrid, the player who was bought from Borussia Dortmund is yet to make his La Liga debut for the club. He featured in the pre season games for Real Madrid but was sidelined because of an injury.
Real Madrid will lock horns with Real Betis on October 16 and the player is expected to feature in that game.
Xabi Alonso can't wait to play alongside Nuri Sahin, he is already excited and knows that the player will perform well for Real Madrid.
“He has good attributes, a great left foot and he plays his football fast. He also has a great attitude, you can see he wants to integrate and wants to succeed. I’m waiting to play with him because he looks very good,” Xabi Alonso told Radio Marca.
Xabi Alonso also said that Real Madrid have improved by leaps and bounds and that the club is on par with Barcelona.
“In direct confrontations, we have been very close. Let’s see if in the table we can get above them. In the Supercup, we were at the same level without doubt,” he added.
“In the first-leg at home we were even the better side. Barca are a very good side and they have Messi. The key is to keep improving and not to become obsessed,” Alonso said.
Sahin is considered a very bright prospect, he played a very important role for Borussia Dortmund and helped then win the Bundesliga title last year, much is expected from this very promising player.
