Cutropia: Casillas honoured by Roma rumours

Carlo Cutropia, the agent of Iker Casillas, says the goalkeeper is "honoured" to have been linked with a move to Roma. The Serie A club have made initial contact with the Madrid captain, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com, regarding a move and although Cutropia would not confirm or deny the report to website La Roma 24, he did comment on the latest rumours. "The only thing I can say is that Roma is a very big club," he told La Roma 24 in quotes translated by AS. "One of the best in Europe and we’re honoured by these rumours. We like the city and the warmth of the ‘tifosi’ a lot." Casillas's future is up in the air with David de Gea expected to arrive in Madrid this summer from Manchester United. The Spain goalkeeper has repeated his desire to stay at the Bernabeu, even as a possible back-up to De Gea, but his future remains unclear. Fenerbahce have also been linked with the Mostoles-born stopper while there is also reported interest from the Premier League.
