Celtic linked with loan move for Martin Ødegaard

Celtic are being liked with a loan swoop for Real Madrid youngster Martin Ødegaard. Ødegaard is set for a move away from Madrid next season on loan to boost his development and the Scottish Premier League club are one of the clubs keen on taking advantage, according to The Scotsman. Celtic boss Ronny Deila gave the Norwegian his debut at Stromsgodset and has made no secret of his advantage to work with the young sensation again. Delia could use his work experience with the 16-year-old to his advantage, although Celtic will face stiff competition for the youngster. A host of La Liga clubs have lined the attacker up, including Getafe and Villarreal, and Madrid may want to see how he gets on in the more competitive La Liga. Ødegaard will not continue with Zinedine Zidane's Castilla side after they failed to clinch promotion from the third tier of Spanish football last season.
