Real Madrid released a statement on Friday to confirm their preference for a December 18 reschedule, although LaLiga and RFEF would prefer a different date owing to the Copa del Rey being played the same week. Wednesday, December 4 is another option, although the way the fixtures fall for both teams in the calendar sees both clubs prefer December 18. A new official date is expected to go down to the wire.
