Has Bale played his last Madrid match?

Gareth Bale's Real Madrid future has been a hot topic this last week and certain sections of the Spanish media believe the Welshman has played his last match in the famous white shirt. Bale has been absent through injury recently and travelled to London last week, with the permission of the club, for an apparent meeting with his agent to discuss a possible move away from the Santiago Bernabéu. Now, respected Spanish radio station Cadena SER has reported that they believe the forward won't feature for Madrid again with a move to pastures new looming in January. Bale was close to a move to the Chinese Super League in January, a move that ultimately fell through. Coach Zinedine Zidane expected the 30-year-old to leave for China during the summer but the move failed to materialise and Zidane subsequently said the former Tottenham man would be part of his plans, starting in the first LaLiga match of the season in Vigo. But with Bale failing to impress in the opening weeks of the season, and airing his frustration in the Spanish capital, that move could now happen when the winter transfer window opens in January. Those rumours, coupled with the fact that Bale is currently recovering from injury, may well have seen the player feature for the last time for Madrid. With Rodrygo Goes impressing of late, the Brazilian could form a new three-pronged attack alongside Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard. Lucas Vázquez and Vinicius Jr. may also be favoured in attack by Zidane.
