Good luck at Villarreal, Kubo

Young Japanese sensation Takefusa Kubo has joined Villarreal on a season-long from Real Madrid. The exciting prospect spent last season with Mallorca and Zinedine Zidane has allowed the young attacker to strut his stuff with another LaLiga rival for the 2020-21 season. "I’m very happy to be part of this team. Hopefully I can have a good season. I want to grow here and help that Villarreal to become an even bigger club," said the 19-year-old at his Villarreal presentation. Many Madrid fans wanted to see Kubo back in Madrid for the new season but with the options at Zidane's disposal, Madrid looked at another year of regular first-team football as the best option for there youngster. Kubo will hope his experience with Villarreal is a more successful one after suffering relegation from LaLiga with Mallorca last season. The Yellow Submarines have welcomed a new coach in Unai Emery and are also set to sign Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin this summer. "They’re a team that have the ball a lot and dominate games a lot," Kubo said of his new team. "I've suffered playing against them as an opponent and now I want to enjoy this style of playing as a footballer." He continued: "Villarreal are a very big club with excellent players. I have to enjoy having competition, which makes everyone better. It’s a team sport and everyone will pull in the same direction."
