Reguilon set for Tottenham move

Real Madrid are set to continue with 'operation exit' by agreeing to sell Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham Hotspur. The Madrid youth product, who spent last season on-loan with Sevilla, is expected to agree a move to the Premier League club after Madrid were reported to have accepted a £30 million fee for the defender. Reguilon does not form part of Zinedine Zidane's plans and his exit from the club will add to the money made from the departures of players such as James Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez and Achraf Hakimi, as well as the loan moves of Dani Ceballos and Brahim. Manchester United were also reported to be keen on a move for the left-back but Tottenham's willingness to include a buy-back clause in the deal left them as front-runners. Reguilon has been back at Madrid's Valdebebas training base since the return to pre-season training but has not trained with the group and is expected to complete his move away from the Spanish capital in the coming days.
